Pregnancy Body Shifts

Body Shift: Pregnancy hormone surge can make hair feel thicker and shinier—or, for some, oilier and more sensitive. After birth, many women also experience postpartum shedding as hormone levels return to normal.

Our Solution: A gentle shampoo and treatment powered by our exclusive Dermavital™ Complex, enriched with Panthenol, Allantoin, Cica, and soy-derived actives. This innovative formula helps balance the scalp, strengthen weak roots, and keep hair feeling healthy.

Your “pregnancy glow” may come with surprises: dark spots, sudden breakouts, or skin that feels extra sensitive. When skin’s renewal cycle slows, it can also look dull. The key is a gentle cleanse and mild exfoliation to lift away buildup, keep pores clear, and prep skin to absorb soothing hydration.

Pregnancy can increase fluid loss and dehydration, leaving lips dry and chapped. Moisture-sealing balms with nourishing oils lock in hydration, keeping lips soft, smooth, and comfortable.

As your body grows, the skin stretches quickly — faster than its natural elasticity can keep up. This can lead to tightness, itchiness, and sometimes stretch marks as collagen fibers are pulled apart. Rich creams and nourishing oils add deep hydration and support elasticity, helping skin stay supple, comfortable, and resilient.

Arms, thighs, and back often feel drier, itchier, or more sensitive due to hormonal shifts and stretching. Creamy body washes protect the skin barrier, while hydrating lotions restore moisture and comfort, keeping skin smooth and healthy all over.

Extra weight and pressure can slow circulation, leading to swelling, heaviness, and cramps. Gentle massage stimulates circulation, helping legs feel lighter, more relaxed, and supported from thighs down to heels.

Luxury Postpartum Care

Joriwon

As the pregnancy progresses, expecting moms in Korea regularly visit spas to calm their bodies and prepare for childbirth. After delivery, they stay in dedicated postpartum centers or 'Joriwon'—facilities that resemble luxury retreats.

For several weeks, new mothers receive daily massages, spa meals, and guided exercises to restore their bodies, while trained professionals care for their newborns.

St. Park

Since our founding, Noelo Hills has partnered with St. Park, a leading postpartum 'Joriwon' in Seoul’s exclusive Gangnam district. Our Essential line is trusted by professionals at St. Park to support skin through every stage of pregnancy, while our baby products are used to care for newborns with the gentlest touch.

korean pregnancy care tips

Apply a rich cream or oil morning and night, even before your belly shows.  Focus on the belly, hips, thighs, breasts, and lower back to help prepare for stretching.

Stay away from the cold to maintain inner energy and balance. This means taking warm showers, drinking warm beverages, eating warming foods, and dressing in layers to keep your body insulated.

Pay special attention to hips, knees and wrists.  Pregnancy puts strain on joints, due to weight changes, hormonal shifts, and loosening of ligaments. Keep them warm and gently supported with soft wraps.

Choose nutrient-rich meals that support healing. Avoid cold, raw, or spicy foods, and instead opt for gentle, mineral- and vitamin-rich options like oatmeal and bone broths.
